Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BOUNTY IS CURRENTLY BEING FOSTERED IN MARYLAND.
This is Bounty, and he sure is a bunch of bountiful love! This boy makes friends everywhere he goes and is looking for some new best friends.
Bounty is a unicorn puppy for someone looking for that shepherdy look without all that shepherdy intensity! This boy is content with a casual game of fetch, a walk on the trail, or, when he gets older, time on the treadmill. One of his favorite pastimes is lounging outside and he would make a great porch buddy- he’s been called an old soul.
Don’t let his easy-going spirit fool you though, Bounty has some flashy obedience and loves working for food! He has been introduced to all basic behaviors including directional casting. He has enjoyed foundational agility training and learns new skills very quickly. He would make a fun introductory dog to obedience, rally, tracking, or agility training!
Bounty is cautious around novel objects and surfaces and would do best in a pet or sport home comfortable with helping him continue to learn how cool the whole world is. He loves to learn and is eager to engage with new things for a few treats. Once he knows what he’s doing, he likes to try to do more and figure out what the next game is!
Bounty loves other dogs and has been comfortable playing with dogs smaller and larger than him. He has high prey drive and has not been introduced to cats, so a cat free home or home with very dog-savvy cats would be best. A home without children or older, dog-savvy children would be best for him as he continues to learn to navigate the world around him.
If Bounty is quickly picking up your heart, don’t hesitate to reach out about adopting him!
