Hi friends, I'm Chief! I'm a handsome boy who was found by my foster dad in a place called Cleveland, TX. Folks weren't so nice to me there, and my fosters discovered that I had been used as target practice and shot in the nether regions. Can you believe it? Neither can I.

No need to fret though, as my fosters and Animal Justice League are doing a great job to make sure that I don't feel the effects of my past life. I am currently living in a home with two dogs and really enjoy spending time with humans.

I need a minute to get used to new folks, but once I know that everyone is cool, I'm ready for all the pets and treats! I do well in my kennel, know basic commands, and am just an overall good boy. My foster mom tells me that my big brown eyes will melt anyone's heart, and that I am going to make a fantastic companion for the right people.
