Miss Mercury is a super smart girl, around 5-6 months old. She picked up on potty training and crate training very quickly, and has already learned the “sit” command. Mercury had never walked on a leash when she joined us, so her foster home helped her to learn this as well! Mercury has done great with other dogs and even cats, she’s good with children but is still a puppy so communicates with her mouth. Mercury can be on the timid side, so would love someone to help her continue to grow her confidence! Mercury definitely loves her people and enjoys staying by your side!

Mercury’s adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free basic obedience course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. We look for adopters with current/former pets to have a demonstrated history of comprehensive veterinary care, and do perform a vet history check in addition to reference checks and a home visit.
