My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Giblet has been campaigning to be your new bet friend since he came into the shelter on 11/7/22. His campaign slogan is `No treat left behind!` and he takes that very seriously. There`s not a crumb left when Giblet`s done with it! With his handsome face and friendly personality he`s sure to swing the polls in his favor. He really deserves to win your vote after having been in an overcrowded shelter for so long!

Giblet is very serious about finding someone to foster, adopt, or rescue him…but his mission hasn`t left him boring! He`s still a very happy and playful boy who`s so much fun to be around. He likes to be pet and play, and he`s very gentle with his toys. He has an average energy level meaning he`s got the best of both worlds. He gets along great with his constituents (other dogs) in shelter playgroups and loves the company. So vote for Giblet and share his message so that he can find that new best friend position he`s so deserving of!

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.

We hope that you will find your new love at our shelter - we always have so many to choose from!
