My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope Cruz is a human beauty and so we named this gorgeous cat after her with the recognition that they both are easy on the eye and lovely to watch.  This sweet grey/brown tabby girl is a young cat at just seven months of age.  She loves a good game of “catch the bug” and her nature is very playful, curious and yet loving. A kind older couple rescued her mother and her 4 kittens from the life outside living on their own with no guarantee of food or water daily.  Penelope is one of those kittens and now she is looking for her own loving, safe, forever after home to call her own.   Won’t you consider inviting her to come home with you!?  If you are interested please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com

Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
