My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shylo, a delightful Labrador Retriever and Border Collie mix, has quite the story to tell. She arrived at the shelter already pregnant, and her journey from there has been nothing short of remarkable. As a fabulous mother to her 8 adorable puppies, Shylo proved her nurturing instincts and resilience. Now, she’s ready to transition from the streets to a loving home where she can be pampered and cherished.

Here’s what you need to know about Shylo:

  • Personality: Shylo is a happy, playful girl who enjoys life. Her love for water and ball play adds a touch of joy to her days.

  • Affectionate and Devoted: Shylo’s sweet and affectionate nature shines through. She’s eager to bond with her new family.

  • Street Smart: Having lived on the streets with her previous owner for a year, Shylo has developed toughness and durability. She’s street smart and knows how to navigate life’s challenges.

  • Social Preferences: While Shylo prefers certain male dogs, she might thrive best as the only dog in her new home.

  • Family Companion: Shylo is poised to be an amazing family pet and companion. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch or going on fun adventures, she’s ready to share her love.

You can meet Shylo Saturday from 11am to 3pm or during the week by appointment. Call 707-542-5582. Please complete this online application.     https://forms.gle/PGmGoo2ZoBEtU4D18

During these two weeks, we will work with you to facilitate training sessions if necessary, necessary appointments for your rescue animal and address and questions / concerns you may have.
