My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunday came to us as an owner surrender back in September of 2022. She was just a pup then.... Now she's a full-grown bundle of joy! Sunday is approx 18mos old. She knows basic commands and is fully kennel and potty trained.

Sunday is curious by nature. Her imagination runs wild sometimes. Watching her is fun- She has an abundance of energy, and a thirst for fun. Sunday is excited to explore the world; she's not yet given up on finding her adventure partner! We know they're out there- let's get her to them!

All dogs have age appropriate vaccines including Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies. All dogs are spayed or neutered, and wormed for parasites. Older puppies and adults are tested for heartworms and treated if found to be positive.

NovaStar is a 501C3 non-profit rescue that receives no monetary help from local, state or federal entities. All adoption fees go straight to our vets to help pay for the veterinary care and other expenses related to the care of all the dogs in the rescue. Other than adoption fees, NovaStar is financed exclusively by donations and an occasional grant

Adoption fees:

Adults 1 year and older: $150

Seniors 6 years and older: $75

Puppies 0 to 6 months old: $295 to $350, dependent on breed

Puppies 6 months to 1 year: $200
