Meet Willie, a three-year-old charmer seeking a calm home in the suburbs or countryside. He thrives in a home environment. Initially shy, he blossoms into a playful and affectionate companion once he trusts his person. House-trained and fond of backyard fun, Willie transforms into a joyful pup in nature and likes to romp around like a deer. He adores peanut butter, car rides, and playing with stuffed toys. Willie is a loyal and loving partner for someone patient and seeking a canine buddy.

Meet the Pet

Walk through the dog and cat adoption areas, and when a pet tugs on your heart strings, we encourage you to speak with an adoption counselor

3.
Submit Application

Tell us about your expectations, wishes and members of your household on our one-page adopter survey. Consider filling it out online.

4.
Interview

Your adoption counselor will review all that we know about the pet's medical history and behavior while in our care.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

You'll be asked to show a government-issued photo identification and proof of your address.

6.
Pay Fee

Check out in our Lora Robins Gift shop where essential supplies for your new companion are available for purchase.

7.
Take the Pet Home

You'll take your new companion home the same day. Expert behavior support is available by calling 804-643-7722.
