Charlie was adopted at 8wks of age from a breeder. From the very beginning she was very fearful. In the months leading up to Covid Charlie was socially exposed to literally 100s of people, as she was the official 07’ orange Flint Jr.Firebirds. She accompanied us to all games and practices. During these times she would frequently freeze in place and urinate. Her trainer said this should get better with age. Well the urinating stopped but it just turned into barking.
Our household dynamic has changed DRAMATICALLY in the past 10 months, adding 2 infants and Charlie is not a huge fan. She has nipped in the air towards their faces on several occasions, never making contact but close enough that we need to make precautions…
She needs a nice quiet home, one without a lot of visitors or babies. She honestly is a VERY loving dog, she thinks she is a teacup yorkie!!! But only loving towards her “immediate” people.
