My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update 8-4 Carmella is doing great in foster home with other dogs! She likes to play and would definitely benefit from another playful dog in the home.
Of course she loves her human and belly rubs too!! Carmella, smiley, happy and a tail that doesn’t stop wagging. She is sweet and friendly, did well during intake and walks fairly well on a leash. She was out during playgroups this past weekend and was very happy to be out in the sun and grass. She met other dogs well but was more interested in having some people time. Carmella loves attention from people and is eager to interact to get some love. It's funner to have CARMELLA by your side. No doubt, this friendly, caramel colored/coated girl is a smile maker and makes sure that you're treated like her Queen Bee. Carmella enjoyed her photo fun in the sun as she explored around making sure to get her big, blocky head in as many human laps as possible. She did a nice job in meeting both male and female dogs, but as a more confident lady, seemed to prefer dogs who were more chill. Carmella has had at least one litter (if not more) and in her prior life, someone has clearly taken the time to love and nurture her to be the devoted, affectionate dog that she is today. If having a sturdy, solid, steady kisser and hugger of a dog sounds like your new best friend, we urge you to please ask about pretty lady Carmella today. Foster update March 23 She is crate trained and housebroken. She loves to play outside. She enjoys her toys. She doesn't bark very often at all except when she gets excited while playing or when her foster arrives home from work. She is good on leash. She rides good in the car. No cats please; she's too curious about them. While her current foster home has no other pets, Carmella does like other dogs. Laid-back dogs with spurts of playful energy that like to bask in the sun are Carmella's speed. Carmella loves attention and absolutely adores her humans. She will often choose to sit by her human to get belly rubs rather than running and playing with other dogs.Update 3/22/23 from her foster home:She is crate trained and housebroken.
