Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Twinkie, whose family calls him Todd is a 6.5 month old pit mix and currently 36 lbs, his birthday is May 16th. He will win you over with his crystal clear eyes, but I assure you this guy is not just looks. He is one of the sweetest puppies you will ever meet. He wants nothing more than to be the center of his humans universe. Some of his favorite things include giving kisses and cuddling. He’s been known to demand being held like a baby, so hopefully his adopters have strong arms!
Todd has never seen a toy he doesn’t like and has recently discovered fetch is pretty darn fun. He’d do best with older children, because once he’s comfortable he can be a bull in a china shop. He's the sweetest boy, but ya see, Todd has the mentality that he’s as small as a chihuahua and is still learning to find his brakes when he gets zoomies.
Todd is a smart, highly treat motivated guy who knows his name and multiple basic commands. He's crate and house trained. He lives in a home with other male dogs and does great. He’s submissive, appropriate to corrections and has an over all relaxed temperament. He’s pretty much a bomb proof puppy. Todd has a high prey drive with wildlife, so felines and small animals are probably out.
With all of that being said, you’d never know Todd has had a rough start to life. He is a parvo survivor and suffers from idiopathic seizure disorder. He is currently on an anti-seizure medication twice a day. Seizures are something his neurologist thinks he might grow out of, however he might need to be on the medication for life. He needs a special adopter that understands his medical history. His ideal family will be one that will pay close attention to him, remain compliant with his medication and continue to take him to a neurologist as recommended. If you have any questions about his medical history please feel free to inquire at adoptpitties@gmail.com --
