My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tawnie is a sweet and lively kitty with a beautiful fur coat of multiple colors accented by lots of gold - and lovely green eyes with a hint of rascal! This kitty is quick to purr and make air biscuits - she loves attention and affection! Tawnie is smart as a whip, and very playful too.

Tawnie is currently living in a foster home. For more information, text or call Judy at home 530 209-5139. We think this kitty is a smart cookie who will delight in sharing love and matching wits with a loving family in her future home!

Additional adoption info

We are in a rural location and cover a large area with small communities far apart. We tailor our adoption process to fit the needs of each adoption, whether it be a home visit or other specific situation. Adoptions are allowed to proceed only after careful checking of the situation for each animal.

RAIN Thrift store is open daily at the address above. Adopters can meet the pets there that are currently available for adoption. We're in the process of setting up with other websites to add our photos to expand coverage for our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

Rescued Animals In Need is a no kill organization whose main focus is rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted animals and helping them find their forever homes. We work hard to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats by providing education and financial assistance (when available) for spay/neuter programs to help prevent unwanted and uncontrolled pregnancies for animals in our communities. Including a program for the voiceless and often ignored feral cats. We have full non-profit 501(c)3 status with the State of California.
