My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ripley, a resident of our shelter who is an adult cat with a heart of gold. Ripley is a bundle of love and warmth, with a personality that can make anyone`s heart melt. He`s the epitome of cuddly, always seeking out a cozy lap or a gentle stroke. His sweetness is unmatched, with a purr that can soothe the most troubled souls. Ripley is the kind of cat who will make your house feel like a home, filling it with love and comfort. His affectionate nature makes him the perfect companion for those quiet nights in. He`s a real charmer, with a gentle spirit that will make you fall in love with him over and over again. Ripley is looking for a forever home where he can share his love and warmth. Adopting Ripley would mean gaining a loyal friend who will always be there to comfort you with his purrs and cuddles. He`s more than just a pet, he`s a companion for life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
