My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Stormy has lived quite a life already. She was adopted by a family as a kitten, however, did not find her happily ever after. She was neglected, kicked out of her home, had a litter of kittens, and would often seek refuge in a storm drain. Luckily, neighbors came together to care for her, feed her, help her kittens get adopted and ultimately were able to get her away from the abusive home. They pooled their money together to get her spayed and vaccinated before arranging a foster home with Frisco Humane Society.

Stormy is now safe in a foster home. Although she is still learning to trust, her personality is starting to come through. A quiet cat for the most part, she will let you know when she is hungry and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She insists on a wet food diet and to have her blanket placed in the right spot next to her foster. Interactive toys bring out the wild spirit within her and she enjoys perching up high on the cat tree. Stormy is not shy but will need a home that will let her be herself. She may never be the cat that snuggles on your chest, but she will always want to be next to you. While she does not interact much with the other animals in her foster home, she does tolerate them.

Stormy is on the petite side and has gorgeous markings of brown, auburn, orange, and some white to highlight her face. The colors swirl around from stripe to circles. She is a designer mix breed called Tourbie – tortoiseshell and tabby. She certainly has the Tortie attitude and spunk with the laid-back charm of a tabby.

A good forever home for Stormy, is one that will love her for who she is and allow her space to continue to grow into a house cat.
