My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Izzy is the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. I have 3 children under the age of 5 and she’s great with all of them. We got her from someone who had an accidental litter. The mom is full husky, dad is Rottweiler with a little Golden Retriever mixed in (which explains her amazing personality). She is a year and a half old, so very energetic. It would probably be best to have a fenced yard. She’s well behaved, and very smart. She passed intermediate training classes at PetSmart. With my kids getting involved in more activities, we’ve been out the house a lot and I feel terrible about her being home alone so often.
She was diagnosed with juvenile cataracts, which we had corrective surgery done on her left eye. She is doing great now and has full vision in that eye, but needs just 1 daily eye drop (which she sits well for). She requires yearly checkups for her eyes just to be safe.
Izzy loves everyone she comes across and will make herself at home!
