My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dewey was rescued from a campsite where one of our volunteers saw some kittens running around. Since he was put into his foster home, he has been a perfect little black cat. His fur is silky and shiny, his eyes are round and yellow in color. He is just the right amount of mischief to keep him adorable and endearing. He is shy at first, but when he’s comfortable, he likes to hang out with his foster parent’s cats and play with toys. He really likes having a friend around and can usually be found with one of the other cats (he would do best with another furry friend). He is very food-oriented and can be won over with treats. His foster mom was given a sample bag of Primal brand “Give Pieces a Chance!” premium chicken jerky recipe for cats and he absolutely loves the stuff.  He may be off sleeping somewhere, but when there’s food to be had, he will come out from wherever he is to get in on that action. He has a gentle but persuasive “meow” when he wants some food. He also likes to investigate what you’re eating, so fair warning, if you like to snack on the couch, he may come and try to sniff out your snack. He particularly likes things with butter, so bread and butter or popcorn are some of his favorites… also cheese. He does not like to be separated from the other cats or people or left alone - it makes him sad. We just love having him as a foster. Dewey is so handsome, adorable and playful. He is just waiting for his forever home. Estimated date of birth is 07-2022.

All of our kittens are currently in Foster Homes. They are not at our facility. Adoption counselors can arrange for you to meet the kittens once your application is approved. Kittens through 6 months $125 or 2 for $200; Kitties over 6 months $100 or 2 for $150.
---
Our Adoptable Kittens ARE NOT FERAL. We take them from the streets at a young age, and some are feral at the time of rescue. However, we spend many hours taming, socializing, and acclimating them to indoor life as a pet cat. They are currently friendly, healthy, and playful kittens who are just waiting for their special someone to take them home. All of our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.
