My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey! I’m called Peach,

I love to be picked up if you can carry 32lbs of pure love. I’m only 8 months old, and I’m learning at such a fast pace.

Shortly after arriving at Fast Friends, I was diagnosed with meningitis, and had to be rushed to the emergency room to undergo all sorts of tests. Everyone that handled me, told me that I was such a brave little girl and did well with all the exams they had to do.
I was in a foster home for my recovery, which didn’t take me long! Being back at Fast Friends and having a blast with all my friends is great, but I really would rather love to have fun with you in your home! I’m truly just as sweet as a peach!
Consider adopting me in your pack, as I would make a great addition into any family dynamic.

Peach would do well in a moderate to high level activity home.

* Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. If you are interested in Peach or one of our other available dogs, please complete an adoption application at www.helpinggreyhounds.org/adopt

More about this rescue

Fast Friends is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to educating the public about Greyhounds and sighthounds from around the world with the primary goal of finding responsible, loving homes for them. Fast Friends envisions a world where no Greyhound or sighthound lacks for a loving home and these breeds are valued and celebrated for their uniqueness.

Fast Friends works closely with both international and domestic partners to bring retired racing Greyhounds and other sighthounds in need from countries where they have almost no chance of a local adoption to its facility in Swanzey, New Hampshire. Each dog receives high quality care with a focus on one-on-one staff time and individualized plans to help them overcome any neglect or trauma they have experienced so that they can be successful in a home. We are dedicated to taking in dogs with the most challenging circumstances.
