Kit is your chance to have Piglet from Winnie the Pooh in your very own home. With his pink nose, pink belly, and very short legs, he looks and definitely thinks of himself as a very small animal. When danger comes, he will cower valiantly from behind your legs. When presented with new food, he will eye it suspiciously wondering what you put in it.
Kit needs a brave defender to keep him safe and build up his confidence. In return, he’ll shower you with licks and never leave your side.
Kit takes time to warm up to new people (you never know who might be after a piglet), but he loves other dogs. He will likely be a bit more of a one-person dog, bonding fiercely to the person who makes him feel safest.
He is still getting acquainted with a collar and leash and would do well with a yard while he gains confidence in those skills.
Kit needs a patient, adult home that can work on his training and confidence. If you are ready to help this little fellow find his footing, he’ll be ready to curl by your side at night, chatter with you about his meals, and wag at every kind word.
Kit will need some adjustment time as he gets settled into his forever home, but once he picks you as his person, he’ll be yours forever.
