For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet and delicate young girl will melt your heart the moment you meet her. She has been through a lot but nothing has managed to ruin her affectionate nature and people-loving disposition. She is vigorously cuddly and kissy when you sit down with her and fortunately (she says) she is deaf and can’t hear your pleas for mercy as you try not to open your mouth while you laugh out loud. Besides from that she is only of moderate energy level though it may increase as she grows healthier.
Jasmine’s natural body structure makes her look even more worried and pitiful than her past and her feelings warrant but she is actually quite playful and makes hilarious facial expressions. She doesn’t quite seem to know about toys but enjoys exploring new objects and snack on sticks and chews.
Jasmine is on a diet to get her to put on weight but it is turning out to be a slow process and she will probably always be on the skinny side. She may have a bit of sighthound in her.
Jasmine gets along with other dogs and some cats. She does have some quirky behaviors around other dog when trying to play with them, which is common for deaf dogs since they don’t get the same feedback as normally hearing ones, and dogs that aren’t experienced can get put off by it.
She is probably around 8 months old per beginning of November. Her breed is unknown.
