Reason in Rescue: This poor boy sure has a story and it isn’t a good one :(. He was brought to us after someone found him abandoned in the woods with a bowl of food and carrots. We scanned him like we do with every stray. Turns out, he was originally adopted from one of the shelters in Pittsburgh after he has come to them as a stray. We assume his adopters had abandoned him outside when they decided not to care for him anymore :(. He is lucky he survived his dumping, and will never again be abandoned again. Not if we have anything to do with it.
Personality: I can’t believe anyone would dream of dumping this boy. He is sweet, loves petting and attention, and wants to be around humans. He’s an absolute love bug and doesn’t even mind being picked up. I just want him to find a forever home that will love him forever and not abandon him! He is very good with his litter box!
Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $70 which includes his neuter and microchip.
