Leelo - 9 week old mixed breed. Needs a home with a yard.
Leelo and her brothers and sisters were rescued with their mom Poppy. They were in an animal control shelter in Roswell (hence the space alien names) at risk for euthanasia due to overcrowding.
The pups 9 weeks old now and are in foster care in Seattle. We are not sure what their breed mix is. They have lots of wrinkly skin, are solidly built and are already around 12-15 lbs at this age. They will likely grow to be large dogs (around 70 lbs) when full grown. They have all been handled and socialized well, spent time with children and other dogs.
Young pups are very fun but hard work. These pups will need proper training and socialization to ensure they grow up to be good canine citizens. Raising a puppy from this young age is a big responsibility and will determine their future behavior. We ask all adopters to be committed to training and working with their pups diligently.
Since these pups will grow to be large and active dogs, we will not consider placing them in an apartment setting. They will also not be suitable for a home with children under 5, as their puppy teeth are razor sharp and they will continue to mouth and chew for quite a few months to come.
Adoption fee for the pups is $525, which includes: rabies, distemper/parvo (times 3), bordetella, microchip, de-worming, spay/neuter. Please submit applications via savinggreatanimals.org
