Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boone has an intestinal infection we are currently treating so processing his adoption is on hold. Please check back later to submit an adoption application for Boone.
Weighing in at just about five pounds, Boone is a young male poodle/terrier mix. His story goes like this: One day Boone got out of his yard. A compassionate Samaritan couple found him and brought him to AALOC. Boone was chipped and his owner was contacted. Even though she loved him dearly Boone’s previous owner knew that leaving a dog alone for 12 hours a day while she was at work wasn’t the life she wanted for Boone. So she surrendered Boone with the hope he would find a better life with a new family.
Boone is a very friendly dog that instantly likes everyone he meets. He enjoys playing with toys and being held and cuddled. He’s very small so we recommend he be adopted into an adult-only family or one with children 12 years or older.
Please submit an application to adopt Boone at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Boone and get to know him a bit.
Donation of $165 for dog adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit (in Orange County, CA). For more information on adoption policies visit our homepage at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail: aaloc@aaloc.org, or by phone (714)893-4393.
