Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pollo here!! Due to some changes in my mom's life, I need to find a new home. You see she took me in from a very bad situation and I’m furever grateful to her for that. I know this is a hard decision for her but she only wants the best for me.
I am a fun, energetic boy at the young age of 6 years (ignore the gray muzzle in the pics which makes me looker way older than I really am). I love to go on long walks. Now Pollo may be my name but fetch is definitely my game! Sometimes it's hard to find my off button when there is a ball involved.
I am good with kids, cats and other dogs. I am living on a farm and I get along great with the little pigs and chickens. I don't even chase after them, only my balls.
I freely admit that my fur sister is the boss of me and she lets me know when to leave her alone and I believe me I respect that. She is the OG of the house so better to not upset her if you know what I mean.
If you are looking for a fun loving dog who loves to play, play and play, I am your guy. Just to let you know I do have kidney disease from untreated Lyme disease before my mom saved me, I am not on medicine as of yet but I do have to watch what I eat and need supplements. Because of this I am considered a special needs pup but to be honest, no one will believe it. I am looking for someone to take care of me and be my best friend. Could that be you?
If you have questions about me, you can contact Jax's at info@jaxslabrescue.org but to be considered a possible match for me, the first step is their adoption application which you can find here:
