We originally rescued Yeti from a situation in Hopewell VA, covered in fleas and ticks and other things. He’s been an amazing boy to our family for the last 4 years, moving from Virginia to North Carolina to Alaska! He loves to ride, chew bones, goes to leashed short walks. He loves my 2 children and respects the boundaries set for my newborn. Unfortunately, my newborn seems to be allergic to him and his shedding.
The ideal home for Yeti would be someone laid back with a nice big backyard away from city traffic. Due to his breed, Yeti loves to bark and protect his property. He’s not been tested with farm animals but has chased both deer, moose and foxes away. He does get along with medium to small dogs, but when he’s done playing he’s done. No food aggression, no leash pulling, doesn’t jump nor lick in face.
He’s an amazing boy that needs a family that can love on him the way he wants and provide the outside time he desperately wants.
