My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brooklyn is a American short hair male cat who needs a loving home where he is the animal around. We adopted him from a friend and he has since been a loving pet, unfortunately due to our allergies and the original owner being unable, it's time to rehome. He is very sweet 99% of the time, he grew up in a home where no one animal was given the time they need to thrive, he was malnourished when we got him and he was living with other animals who tortured him constantly. As a result he has a lot of anxiety and needs someone patient and loving, who doesn't mind an occasional light nibble when his anxiety flares up. Most of the time he is a cuddly friend who runs for treats, loves playing with his mouse on a stick, and in a comfortable environment lazes around enjoying the fresh air in an open screened window or laying on a sunny floor. He has always been very clean and most of time he just wants pets. We are looking for an experienced candidate who can accommodate his needs properly.
