This handsome boy was found on a construction sight terribly matted and flea infested. He was picked up by animal control, however no owner came to the shelter for him. When he landed on their rescue only list, we immediately scooped him to safety.
Bistro is all cleaned up and has been fully vetted. He looks like the perfect combination of a Yorkie/Dachshund. He has the soft Yorkie silver and black coat which is already starting to grow back in, and the long and low Dachshund body.
Bistro is 2 years old and weighs 12 lbs. He's well mannered in the home and has acclimated to his routine. Bistro walks great on leash and enjoys going on adventures with his foster family.
Bistro is currently in a foster home with another dog, however we get the impression he would like to have his humans all to himself. He will do best with a family that is home a little more often than not, or who likes to take their furry friend with them. His coat will require upkeep and grooming as it continues to grow back in.
Bistro does the most adorable little beg stance with his two front paws in the air. He has a spunky playful side, but can equally relax and chill in the home. We have no doubt this little guy is going to make a great addition to a lucky family!
