Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barbara, aka Babs, is a Funny Girl. She's a little shy, but after some pets, she'll warm right up. She's a chatty kitty, with lots of meows and chirps that make her foster family laugh! When she isn't chatting away, she likes to lay on your lap. If there isn't a lap available, she'll settle for being right next to you. She likes to get her energy out after breakfast (she's a champion runner), so that she can spend the day snoozing and relaxing while watching the trees out the window. Beautiful tortie girl Babs is also good with other kitties, and likes to imitate her foster sister while hoping to sneak in some cuddles. She would do great in a forever home with another calm kitty but also fine as an only pet! Babs was born April, 2021.
If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Babs, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.
We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you! Please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com to learn more. Photos by Brenda Stewart.
