Is she a dog or a raccoon? We’re not quite sure, but Mia is special. She has not been treated well in the past and is wary of new people until she knows you. Once she trusts you, she is very affectionate and seeks comfort in touch and pets. She’s a happy walker and great on leash, though she does not love being harnessed yet. Volunteers are working on making that a better experience for her. Mia is a work in progress who is very worthy. She will just need a patient and kind adopter who will be rewarded with so much love. She would probably prefer a home without kids, but seems fine with other dogs. She is housetrained.
