My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm so glad to have caught your attention! My name is Xena and I'm single and loving it...but looking for a human. I've shown aggression to other dogs in and out of the shelter setting so I'll need an experienced owner who can keep me in environments and situations where I can be successful. I LOVE to play and cannot wait to start living my best life with you. I know that I can be a great companion to someone who likes to keep their circle small and won't give up on me.

More about this rescue

Located in beautiful north central Wisconsin, we have a beautiful new facility and dog walking trails. We are a full service, unlimited admissionhumane society shelter contracted with the county to house all stray animals. We believe in the humane and ethical treatment of all living creatures, and promote these beliefs in our actions and educational outreach programs. We work with rescue groups, volunteers, and the public to promote sterilization of companion pets and "forever" homes. All dogs, cats and rabbits are sterilized before adoption or have a scheduled appointment at a time determined by veterinary staff.
