Hey Hey! My names Max!
Intake date: 10/12/2022
Intake type: Surrender
Gender: Male
Weight: 62lbs
DOB: 3/1/2021
I am: Up to date on vaccines, Neutered and Microchipped
My shelter friends describe me as: Goofy/ Silly, Outgoing, Intelligent, Loyal, Affectionate, Determined
My energy level: Medium/ High- I am obsessed with playing with my ball and running around with my ball but when its time to relax, I am okay with that.. as long as I have my ball close ball or in my mouth. Have I mentioned I am obsessed with balls? ( As you can see from my photos) I have about 20 of my favorite ones in my kennel with me! I am very silly and will try and bark with my ball in my mouth and even try to take a treat without putting it down.
Home with other dogs: Yes but noone too crazy for me!
Home with children: Older children 12+ would be best for me
Home with cats: Unknown
As you can tell from my intake date, I have been at the shelter a couple months. I am a very special boy and have needed a lot of time to decompress, de stress and learn that my shelter family are all good people and I can trust them. It takes me a while to warm up to new people, but with my love of balls Iv done great if you bring me a new one and show your kindness to me. I have been working on my leash training as I can be leary and nervous on a leash but Iv already shown improvement since being here at the shelter. I am a boy who will most likely need multiple meet and greets as stated before I need some time to warm up but once I do, you will see that I am very sweet and just need a chance to show all the love I can give. I really am a good boy.
If you think you may be interested in me and want to meet me, please submit an adoption application first- Feel free to call my shelter family with any questions about me!
