My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caden is ready for his furever home!!! Caden came to us a few months ago after being found by a local police officer tied to a pole on the side of the road with a prolapsed rectum… Caden was rushed to the ER where he had a temporary fix (called a purse string) the Drs were very concerned with the state he was in… They actually recommended he be humanely euthanized due to the extreme amount of pain he was in and the condition of his rectum, they didn’t think he would make a full recovery… The ACO wanted to give him a chance so she contacted us, and the rest is history… The Drs preformed a coloplexy (colon is attached to the abdominal wall, a permanent fix for a prolapsed rectum) they were so grateful that we were able to give him the chance at survival… And he did it!!! He survived the surgery, he survived the recovery and he is flourishing in his foster home… Caden is about 2 years old, 50ish lbs, and he appears to be an American Bully/Staffy… He acts like a big puppy, he’s very playful and can be mouthy he hasn’t quite learned yet when enough is enough (we are working on that) so we are looking for a home with children over 16, no cats, he’s done well with dogs he’s met but can be a little overwhelming at times for older dogs… Meet & greet is a must for any doggo siblings… Caden is fully vetted and ready for his furever family to find him… Applications can be filled out @ wwk9rescue.com
