My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking to add a gentle, loving, and oh-so-snuggly furry friend to your family? Look no further than Nori! This sweet, soft-hearted girl may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll be your most devoted cuddle buddy—happiest curled up in your lap, soaking in all the love.

Nori is great with other dogs and loves to play, though she takes a little time to feel comfortable with new people. She’s also wonderful with children, making her an ideal family companion. With her gentle nature and social spirit, she would thrive in a home filled with love, patience, and plenty of playtime!

This smart, eager-to-please pup is already crate-trained and house-trained, and she’d love a family who will continue to help her learn new things. Whether it’s playtime with furry friends or cozying up for belly rubs, Nori is always ready to be part of the fun.

She’s spayed, heartworm negative, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, and up to date on flea/tick prevention—all set to find her forever home!

Could Nori be the perfect addition to your family? Apply today at www.shelter2rescue.org, and one of our team members would love to introduce you to this special girl! Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We do our best to match up potential adopters with just the right pet as we want to ensure a lifelong placement for the rescued animal. Our adoption process includes an initial application, with home visit, reference and vet checks. If the match is a good one, we then have an adoption contract that is executed. We have a commitment not only to our adopted dogs, but also to the families that adopt them, and we are always available to help with the transition to a new home. We check in during the first few weeks to answer any questions or help with any issues - or to just give you someone to brag to about your new baby. We can't hear that too much!

More about this rescue

Shelter2Rescue Coalition is an all-volunteer rescue organization dedicated to the safe-rehoming of shelter animals. We started as a rescue facilitation organization, helping rural shelters publicize their at-risk dogs, thereby dramatically reducing the need to euthanize for space. Then, as we worked with more shelters, it became very apparent that if we could just buy the dogs up for euthanasia just a little more time, you could save even more lives. The 72-hour hold limit at most shelters just wasn't enough for most dogs to get out. Therefore, we expanded and built partnerships with boarding facilities, transport organizations and other nationwide rescues in order to be able to provide a temporary safe haven for dogs out of time. We have now expanded Shelter2Rescue Coalition to include our own adoption program. Since June 2007, through facilitation and adoption, Shelter2Rescue Coalition volunteers have saved over 2000 dogs and cats.
