My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Quinn!     DOB: 12/2020     Weight: 50lbs

Quinn has been in our care for 10 months now. She’s a medium sized, young mix breed. Believed to have some Black Mouth Cur in her among other things. Quinn loves being showered with kisses and head rubs. Good with kids and adults alike. She often comes off heavy with other dogs, but does do well with others. Just needs a proper introduction and time to adjust. She loves food and treats! Teaching her should be easy since she’s so food driven. Knows how to sit and takes handouts nicely. Very curious about everything. This sweet gal needs a family that will give her plenty of playtime and will take her on walks throughout the week. Quinn is believed to be house trained as she previously lived in a home. She was surrendered as she was just too much energy for someone with mobility issues. She does have a prey drive and has not been fond of cats and itty bitty dogs.

Her adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. If for some reason it does not work out, you’ll be refunded $100 of your fee. If interested in adopting her please fill out an application on our NEW website. https://www.newliferescues.org . If you have issues, send us a message through our Facebook. Came to shelter 12/2022.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process consists of an adoption application followed by an interview. Upon arriving at the shelter, each dog receives a Bordetella shot, DHPPC vaccination and worming. At the veterinarian's office, our dogs receive a rabies vaccination, a spay or neuter surgery, and are tested for heartworm. If a dog tests positive, we treat the dog and then retest to confirm that the treatment was successful. Additionally, our dogs are microchipped before going home with their new family. Adoption fees are $85 and help to cover the cost of vetting.
