My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woof! Woof! My name is Queenz. I am 3 years old (Maltese Girl) and weigh 4 kg. I was rescued from a horrific puppy mill in Namyangju, Korea. Our aunties fought super hard to save me and 250+ other dogs. Our aunties fought super hard to save all of us. We were all prisoned inside a tiny cage without a solid wall. It was more like a tent and we had no air conditioning during summer and no heating during the cold winter months.

I was imprisoned inside a tiny cage at this puppy mill. All of us were fed nothing but leftover human foods. Water? If we were lucky, the owner will go around the cages to give us water but this was very rare. I was a moneymaker for her due to the demand for Maltese. I don’t remember how many times I gave birth to my precious puppies. I hope all of them are happy in their new households.

My foster family in Korea began providing basic training and trying their best to help me get acclimated into a new environment. So far, I am loving it. I am thankful that I’m safe. With their help, I’m slowly beginning to open up to her. They feed me nothing but premium organic foods and they always make sure I receive plenty of attention I need. I get along great with their kids and other furry friends.

Felines? Don’t know what they are and who they are. I do prefer a household with no cats since I had a tough life at the puppy mill and the last thing I want is to face more dramas. Please give me some time to fully open up to you. It may take me some time to trust you. I’d like to spend the rest of my life with a family who will love me forever and promise not to abandon me.

Over 250 small breeds were found in a small town located in Namyangju, Korea. Small breeds consisting of Maltese, Poodle, Maltipoo, Yorkie, and Chihuahua were all rescued thanks to our partner rescue organization in Korea. This small town is a well-known area for illegal puppy mills and the dog meat trade. There were clear indications the majority of the small breeds were dumped in this area by pet grooming academies. Some had their legs chopped off and some, had their skins ripped off. Many pokes and cuts were discovered.

Should you be interested in adopting me as your new family member, please fill out our adoption application on our site to be considered as potential adopters. We highly encourage you to read our FAQs page on our site.

PLEASE NOTE: All of our recently rescued dogs are currently fostered in Seoul, Korea by our volunteers. Our adoption process may be stricter than any other rescue organization as these rescued dogs are traveling over 5500 miles to be with their new permanent family.

You must be at least 25 years old to be considered an overseas adopter. For serious inquiries only. Please note, we monitor all pets after adoption. We prefer adopters that are active on any of the social media accounts. Thank you!
