Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Seamus is a 5 year old neutered male Great Pyrenees mix. Gets frequent compliments for his soulful eyes and curly fluffy tail. He asks for pets by leaning against your leg and giving a backwards glance. Occasionally attempts to be a 70 lb lap dog.
Seamus’s ideal family would be a person, couple, or family of adults where he can be the solo shining star pet. Work from home? He is pretty quiet and rarely barks. Loves to curl up at your feet. Work out of the home? Seamus is okay to hang out and around the house unsupervised as long as he has a doggie door and a fenced yard.
Life transitions (move to a small house, toddler tantrums, and a new baby) have caused Seamus to feel overstimulated and to begin resource guarding behavior with our other dog.
Seamus needs a calm and steady household. Someone who knows and accepts his needs and eccentricities or who has the patience and knowledge to continue his training. He is a good boy that will give you all the love he has.
