My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT SWEET DAISY

This adorable princess has been waiting for a forever home for too long. Coming from a hoarding situation about 9 months ago and brought to us, Daisy has been patiently waiting at the shelter for someone to adopt her home. She just wants to be loved and well cared for.

Daisy came in with another cat who was quickly adopted. Now its Daisy’s turn and well overdue. Very friendly and great with other cats, Daisy can be adopted either as an only cat or in addition too. She will make a great companion to anyone who is willing to open up their home to her. One can just imagine all that she has gone through.

Daisy is a beautiful tortie and approximately 2 years old. She is spayed and up to date on all routine shots and litter boxed trained. Will you be the one to open up your heart and home to her? She is currently located in the shelter.

If you or anyone you know is interested in adopting this fabulous cat, please contact us at start2nj@yahoo.com.

More about this rescue

Save The Animals Rescue Team II (S.T.A.R.T. II), started in 1989, is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 status organization dedicated to alleviating the plight of homeless and abandoned companion animals. Twice a week we visit a local pound and take as many adoptable animals as we can. These animals are provided veterinary care, clean living conditions, exercise and socialization.

We work with potential adopters to find that perfect match…..giving them a "fur"- ever home for life. In addition, we educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering as well as offering low cost options, vaccinations, preventive medications, and proper living conditions for their new and existing pets.

This lifesaving work is critical for many of these unfortunate animals, since their only crime was to be born unwanted. Since our inception, we have rescued and placed over 7,000 dogs and cats.
