Introducing Uma!

This sweet Pitt Mix was rescued from a local shelter. While we don't know a lot about her past, it clearly hasn't been easy. Once we saw that face, we knew we had to help.

Unfortunately, getting out of the shelter was only the first obstacle for our lovely lady. Uma is heartworm positive and will have to spend the coming weeks undergoing treatment. Thankfully, once she receives the medical care she needs, Uma will be able to live the glamorous life she deserves!

We’ve quickly learned she’s really the best girl! Uma does great with people and most dogs. However, she does get a little too excited for small dogs or cats. Once she’s back to feeling better she’ll make the perfect dog!
