Hi, I'm Cheese! When I was first at Heritage Humane, I was a kitten adopted with my brother Burger. We are not bonded like others thought when we were originally here. We were living in a stressful situation with another cat. He did not like us, so we were returned. Right now, I need a quiet home to relax and get to know my new owners. I would love an owner that has time to get to know me and allow me time to get to know them as well. Plus, I am oh-so-soft! I would love to find my forever home soon, will that be with you?
From the foster! This little girl is very shy, but desperately wants to love and trust. She just needs the time and patience of a loving owner. To help you along, Foster Mom has discovered the Secret Weapon: Cheesy loves to be brushed! She is also a fan of ear and chin rubs. She has the most beautiful face, you will want to look at her forever. She's not a morning or noon person, and mostly comes out after dark, so don't worry about leaving her at home if you work - she will be perfectly happy.

Adoption fees range from $56-$86. This includes vaccines, flea/tick protection, health exam at local veterinary clinic, collar,leash, 50% discount on spay/neuter. Altering is done at the time of adoption, prior to the pet going home.
There is an application for adoption, a 24 hour hold and an adoption contract.

We are located in Williamsburg, VA. Our adoption center is open 6 days a week from 12 noon - 4:30 pm, and we are closed on Mondays for deep clean.
