My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Burger! I lived in a home with my sister Cheese, but we are not bonded like others thought. We did live in a very stressful environment with another male cat. He did not like us, especially me and attacked me several times. I have recovered from my injuries and I am ready for a quiet place to call my own. I do love people and would love a quiet home that allows me time to get to know my new owners.

Little Burger loves to watch other cats, but he is scared because he was bullied by another cat and then surrendered. Still, he would be a great companion to a very calm, submissive cat who wants a friend that is not going to be threatening. He sits by the door of his room listening to the cats on the other side, wanting to meet them and make friends.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees range from $56-$86. This includes vaccines, flea/tick protection, health exam at local veterinary clinic, collar,leash, 50% discount on spay/neuter. Altering is done at the time of adoption, prior to the pet going home.
There is an application for adoption, a 24 hour hold and an adoption contract.

We are located in Williamsburg, VA. Our adoption center is open 6 days a week from 12 noon - 4:30 pm, and we are closed on Mondays for deep clean.
