My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Garth is a 3 year old sleek black kitty who was found at a remote location during a colony assistance project. He had been dumped in the country and initially went through some abandonment issues. He has recovered fully and is now an amazingly sweet kitty. He is very friendly and adores attention. He can get a little overstimulated at times but has only good intentions. He LOVES to be held and snuggled too! He is most happy when with his human - as long as he is getting some good lovin.

Sadly, Garth has tested positive for FIV but is very healthy otherwise. (With a healthy grain-free high quality diet he should live out a long and healthy life.) He would do well in a quiet/patient home with no children. We do not know how he would be around a dog but may be okay with a cat friendly dog and a slow introduction. He does like to chat with his human occasionally - especially at dinner time - but that only adds to his wonderful charm! We have found that he can be a little strong-willed around other cat and would do best in a home as an only cat.

Garth has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (FIV+ Negative for FeLV/HW). (FIV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs and is only transmitted to other cats through a deeper bite wound.) His adoption fee is $225+tax
