My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pedro is one of four dogs left behind after their owner recently passed away. He has a beautiful labrador temperament and just wants to please. Pedro is a handsome boy that loves to make funny faces. He seems to like women more than men. He is protective of his human and would be the perfect fit for a single woman.

As an adult dog, Pedro doesn't take a lot of exercise and with a previous injury to his elbow (which seems to not cause any pain), Pedro yearns for a human to watch over and call his own. He is learning to walk on leash and go potty outside. Give this boy the second chance for a loving family that he so deserves!

Pedro is fostered in Chapala, MX and can be adopted locally or to parts of the US and Canada.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
