We originally fostered Kai's mom (she was a stray) after she gave birth to 6 kittens. We fostered them all for two months. We adopted Kai and his sister, Ruby, but mom and the other 4 were adopted by other families. Kai is a year and a half old (born May 30, 2021). Ideally we would like for Kai and Ruby to stay together, but we are willing to split them up if necessary. We would like for them to receive the extra attention and care they deserve that we are unable to give them due to our busy schedules. Kai loves attention. He loves to cuddle and he loves for you to scratch and brush his fur. He enjoys going outside for a bit to get some fresh air. He is great with our children (10 and 6); he likes to climb in the bed with our daughter occasionally. He loves to chew on things. He chews shoes (especially foam soles) and he has chewed a few cords in the past. He hasn't chewed cords in at least 6 months, but we have to keep our shoes out of his reach.
