🐾 Meet Miss Zucchini: A Confused, Loving Soul Eager for a Forever Home! 🐾
Miss Zucchini, a lovely and gentle soul, found herself at the shelter with her little friend (who has been rescued), and it was quite the bewildering experience for her. The shelter environment can be stressful, but she's slowly but surely finding her footing and settling in.
Despite the initial confusion, Miss Zucchini is a true lover of people. She's like a magnet for attention, pressing herself against her kennel, yearning for affection and connection. Her eyes sparkle with hope, and her heart is filled with love, just waiting for someone to give her a chance.
Miss Zucchini's love for walks is another testament to her lively spirit and her eagerness to explore the world. She might have a preference for smaller dogs, but further evaluation will help determine her perfect match.
This holiday season, Miss Zucchini dreams of finding her forever home where she can leave her past behind and start a new chapter in her life. If you're seeking a loving and loyal companion, she's ready to be your forever friend and bring warmth and joy into your home.
Come and meet Miss Zucchini today, and be the one to give her the gift of a loving home for the holidays. Your kindness and open heart can transform her life and make her holiday season truly special. 🏡❤️🐾 #AdoptMissZucchini #ForeverHomeForTheHolidays #LoveAndCompanionship

More about this shelter
The City of Hopewell Animal Shelter is run by the Animal Control Officers. We fall under the Hopewell Police Department and train accordingly to serve the animals and the public of Hopewell. Our shelter is currently a small scale shelter with 28 dog kennels and 14 cat cages.
Our shelter is often full. We work hard to find our animals that are not claimed by an owner a new home or an approved rescue.
Most of our animals at our facility are animals that were found running loose that no one came to look for. We do often get animals in from owner surrenders where the previous owners can no longer care for them. At times we also seize animals and they will eventually need forever homes or rescue.
Come on down to the City of Hopewell and meet the wonderful Animal Control Officers and the Shelter staff that care for the animals on a daily basis.
