Hello, my name is Sammy! I just turned 1 a little over a month ago, and I am ready to find my forever family! I LOVE to cuddle and give kisses. Can 60 pound dogs be lap dogs? If so, sign me up! I am an Aussie mix, and I love to play, but I am strong and need someone who is patient to teach me how to play properly. I have been working really hard with my foster dad on learning how to get along with others. I do great with women, but sometimes I have to decide if I like men when I meet them. I have not lived with kids, but I met some at an adoption event and they seem okay. I get along really well with my foster pup siblings, and my foster dad has learned that I have some very specific toys that I don't like to share. Since he has figured that out, he can now teach my new family how to make sure I get along with other dogs in my new home. I would do better in a home with only medium to large dogs, and I like to chase cats, so my foster dad says it really depends on the cat, but I might be better in a home with only dogs. I also really like chasing flies, so I would like to list pest control on my resume! If you take me home, I promise I will chase them all away. I just want a place to call home. We will do an over the phone or in person interview with our adoption counselor.

Home Check
We will need a video of your home. We need to see the front numbers of your home, a quick inside walk through and a detailed backyard video.
3.
Meet the Pet
Meet and greets are done at events or at foster homes. These include all members of the family including all pets.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Adoption contract will be completed before dog is allowed to come home.
5.
Pay Fee
Adoption fee is range by the age of the dog.
6.
Take the Pet Home
Pets will only be taken home at our adoption events so all paperwork can be given.

If for any reason we see signs of the dog or puppy not doing well in the meet and greet we will remove them from the situation. Foster to adopt is available for many adult dogs.
