My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED
Nina is a 2-year-old, 45lb Shepherd mix who is looking for her forever home! She is a sweet girl who is very energetic and loves people's attention. She knows some basic obedience and is very smart and treat motivated. She will thrive with a family that can continue her training.

Her ideal family likes to be active, give her lots of love and help her keep perfecting her training.

Sometimes Nina’s enthusiasm can make her jumpy, but she is getting much better! You can tell she really wants to please her people. She loves to cuddle up and get love and pets.

Nina can be overexcited when meeting new dogs and is still working on her doggie manners. She would be fine as an only dog in a home, if there is another dog we will do a meet to see how the pups get along. She is not tested with cats. She is super loving so we think she could do ok with kids over 6.

Nina is will be spayed, and is up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Her fee is $500.

More about this rescue

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes or a kennel in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs are/or will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.

Interested? Send us an email at fhdrwa@gmail.com and we'll send you a foster application. It's lots of fun and you will meet lots of dogs and other people who love dogs.
