Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Carmen has had a bit of a rough time finding just the right home. She had been abandoned and abused. We took her in to prevent her previous owner from taking to her a shelter again and we fell in love with her. Carmen is such an affectionate dog and has so much love to give. She’s happy just being around you, and is even happier being cuddled or napping together. Carmen is fantastic with kids. We have a 9 year old and a 6 month old and she adores them both. Due to treatment from her previous owner, she does have fear aggression toward men. However she has built trusting relationships with the men around her. She would do best in a home without any other pets, which is why we’re looking to rehome her. She is territorial and will mark with other animals in the home. She can be rough with them as well. Carmen does best in a crate when left at home. Having been in shelters and abandoned, she does have separation anxiety and tends to chew because of it. The crate guarantees her safety.
