Hi! My name is Memphis . I was an owner surrender by no fault of my own. But that's all in the past and I am now here to find my furever family.
When I first came into my foster home, I was a little shy and it took a little time for me to warm up. The new environment and people were a little scary for me. But with a little time and patience on the part of my wonderful fosters, I finally got comfortable and my personality now shines.
I am a mellow boy but do enjoy my walks. I'm a California boy, so I love to lounge around in the sun. Once I am comfortable, I enjoy playing with other mellow pups and toys. I'm not too sure if I like cats or small children because my fosters haven't observed me around them.
Here's what my fosters have to say about me: "He loves belly rubs and is a great companion. Memphis is very affectionate and will love to be on your lap. He listens when you call him and is working on basic commands. Memphis loves treats and will be patient to get a treat. Memphis learned to go to his bed inside a crate and seems to be comfortable in his crate. He's a great dog and we will miss him."
More about Memphis : Memphis is an 11-year- old chihuahua mix. He is potty trained, crate trained, and good on a leash. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Memphis has mild separation anxiety so we will be looking for a family who is home more than not or who can take him with them to most places they go. Memphis will do fine as an only dog or with a dog or dogs that are friendly. The ideal family should be willing to give Memphis time to adjust to his new environment with patience knowing that his true personality will come out once he's comfortable and feels safe.

Memphis' Adoption Donation Fee is $350. Memphis is neutered, current on all vaccinations has received a wellness exam, and is microchipped.
