My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I’m Sam, an approximately 3-year-old adult cat, looking for my purrfect home. After raising my own five kittens, also available for adoption, I’m ready for a home where I can relax and soak up attention of my own. I would love to be the only cat as I do have a more dominant personality. I’ll come to your home litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations. If I sound like the purrfect addition to your home, email rockcityrescue@gmail.com with your name and phone number.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that is signed once an adopter has been approved for an adoption. There is no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption feeds vary from dog to dog.

Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a variety of foster homes. We are full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 90% of the time we return calls and emails within 48-72 hours.

More about this rescue

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or lost. We pull dogs and cats who have been abandoned or owner surrendered. We also pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them be united with loving forever homes, as well as help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for.
