Musketeer is part of the Candy Litter, who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas along with mom Kisses and dad Goober. The entire litter had scabies and looked a little rough in the beginning, but they are fully treated and their coats have grown back beautifully.
Musketeer is going to be a big boy! He is sweet and gentle and, of all the littermates, has the darkest coloration. Musketeer is crate trained and potty-trained (as long as you stick to a schedule), and sleeps through the night. He is learning to sit and focus, and walk on a leash for the first time. We will be working on the down and stay commands next. Foster mom is a dog trainer, and we are learning good manners and not to jump and mouth people when we want attention. Musketeer tends to follow the lead of Whopper, so he should fit in well with a family looking to add a less dominant dog to the pack.
