My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 1 year 7 months as of 11/27

Size: ~ 28 lbs

Estimated breed: Australian Kelpie/Basenji mix

Fidj was found as a stray in rural Alabama back at the beginning of November. No one ever stepped up to claim her, so she sat and waited in the shelter, hoping to catch the eye of an adopter. Days came and went, and still Fidj remained at the shelter. Fortunately for us, a foster saw her little face and immediately said "yes," which allowed us to bring her up to Maryland to find her forever home!

Fidj is a tiny little girl at only 28 lbs. She is super wiggly and energetic and loved to wrestle with all the big dogs at the shelter's daily playgroup sessions! Fidj would love to join you on long walks, runs, hikes, and other adventures to keep her little mind and body busy. She is a smart girl who would love to impress you in training too! She is past the crazy puppy energy but still young enough to learn plenty of new tricks with her forever family. Fidj does great with the other dogs and cats in her foster home. We have not yet seen her around kids.
